Season in photos: Jermaine Beckford

A photographic look back on Jermaine Beckford's inaugural season with the club

Swapping the King Power Stadium for BL6 last summer, Jermaine Beckford undoubtedly enjoyed a memorable first season as a Bolton Wanderers player as he finished as the club’s top goalscorer with nine strikes in all competitions.

The first of which came in a Capital One Cup clash against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park back in August, the striker opened his league account for Wanderers in a 2-1 win over Birmingham City in October – a goal which sparked an impressive run which saw him score five times in six outings.

Having hit form, fate was to be cruel to the frontman as a hamstring injury sustained against Nottingham Forest in January kept him on the sidelines for the best part of two months, but Beckford returned to the fold against Yeovil Town and featured in every single game until the season’s conclusion.
