Youngster agrees permanent deal following initial loan spell
Bolton Wanderers will complete the signing of Andy Robinson on a one-year deal when his contract with Southampton expires this summer.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a brief spell on loan with Wanderers during the latter stages of last season, making a number of appearances for the development squad and will now join the club on a permanent basis.
Robinson, who primarily operates as a central midfielder, progressed through Southampton’s youth academy and made his senior debut in a League Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday in September 2012.
The youngster becomes Dougie Freedman’s fourth summer signing following the arrival of Neil Danns, Liam Trotter and Liam Feeney.
