Significant progress being made ahead of September opening
Preparation work for the Bolton Wanderers Free School is now entering its final stages ahead of its official opening this September.
Over 300 aspiring students aged between 16 and 19 have already applied for a place on one of a variety of courses at the Free School.
In January 2014 the application to launch a Free School was successful.
The curriculum will be based around three BTEC-accredited subjects – sport, business studies and health and social care – with GCSE maths and English options also available.
Initially the school will cater for 200 students, with that figure to rise to 400 from 2015.
