A look ahead to U21s’ league clash with Wolves
Having seen last week’s clash with Manchester United called off because of a frozen pitch, Wanderers’ Under-21s return to league action on Monday night as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the County Ground, Leyland.
The young Whites have picked up seven points out of a possible nine from their last three league matches, having drawn 1-1 away at league leaders Newcastle United in their last outing, and currently sit seventh in the table.
In comparison, visitors Wolves currently sit bottom of the table having won just once all season. However, their solitary victory came against Bolton back in August as an early George Swan strike secured them a 1-0 win.
Kick-off is at 7pm with tickets costing £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and free to season ticket holders.
There will be updates throughout the game via the club’s Twitter account @OfficialBWFC, with a full match report available at www.bwfc.co.uk following the game.
