A look ahead to Bolton Wanderers XI’s pre-season fixture against Chorley
Bolton Wanderers XI face Chorley in the Harold Taylor Memorial Trophy on Wednesday as part of their pre-season preparations.
The annual fixture, played in memory of Chorley’s previous long-serving club secretary Harold Taylor, will take place at Victory Park and kick off at 7:45pm.
Chorley, who are managed by former Wanderers striker Matt Jansen, are the current holders of the trophy after coming from behind to beat the young Whites 2-1 last year.
The Magpies narrowly missed out on promotion to the Conference last season as they conceded a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 against Guiseley in the Conference North Play-Off Final.
Tickets will be available on the turnstiles and cost £5 for those aged 12 or over and are free to under-12s.
There will also be updates throughout the match via the club’s Twitter account @OfficialBWFC, with a full match report available at www.bwfc.co.uk following the game.
