Max Clayton continues to step up his rehabilitation from a knee injured sustained last season, while David Wheater continues to work with the medical staff on a hamstring problem that prevented him from flying out to Austria.

Tim Ream remains on international duty with USA after Jurgen Klinsmann’s side set up a semi-final clash with Jamaica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

ONE TO WATCH
Following two seasons in Scotland with St Johnstone, fan-favourite Lee Croft returned to Boundary Park for his fourth stint with the Oldham Athletic earlier this summer.

Coming through the ranks at Manchester City, the former England youth international enjoyed his first spell with the Latics when sent out on loan during the 2004/05 season, prior to a permanent move to Norwich City in 2006.

Signing for Derby County in 2009, the winger later spent time on loan at Huddersfield Town, St Johnstone and Oldham before finishing the 2012/13 season with the Latics following the cancellation of his Derby contract, where his efforts saw him pick up the fans’ Player of the Year award.

Having re-joined St Johnstone in November 2013, Croft now re-signs for Oldham hoping to enjoy the same success as his previous stints.
