A look ahead to the Under-21s second league game in a week, away against Stoke City
Bolton Wanderers Under-21s take on Stoke City at Macclesfield Town’s Moss Rose stadium on Friday night, looking to bounce back from their defeat against Aston Villa earlier in the week.
The Whites come into the match off the back of successive league defeats, however, they sandwich an impressive Manchester FA Senior Cup victory over Manchester United.
Currently sitting seventh in the table, Bolton conceded a two-goal lead the last time the two sides met as they drew 2-2 at Macron Stadium back in October.
Hosts Stoke City are unbeaten from their last three league matches, drawing 1-1 in their last outing against Newcastle United, and currently sit three places behind the Trotters in tenth.
Kick-off is at 7pm while there will be updates throughout the match via the club’s Twitter account @OfficialBWFC, with a full match report available at www.bwfc.co.uk following the game.
