Forward nominated for award with voting open until Friday 16 October
There is still time for Wanderers fans to vote for Zach Clough to win the MBNA Northwest Football Awards' 2015 Mob Sport Rising Star of the Year award.
The young forward memorably burst onto the scene last season with a debut strike against Wigan Athletic at Macron Stadium in the FA Cup.
He then followed that up with a brace on his maiden Sky Bet Championship appearance against Wolverhampton Wanderers – going on to finish the campaign with an astonishing six goals from just 10 appearances before a dislocated collar bone ended his season prematurely.
Clough faces competition from the likes of top-flight stars Raheem Sterling, Brendan Galloway and Angelino to lift the award.
Whites fans can also vote for former player Tim Ream to win the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award.
Wanderers’ Player of the Year in both 2014 and 2015, the American international, who joined Fulham in the summer, will be keen to follow in the footsteps of former team-mate Jay Spearing, who won the Championship accolade in 2013.
He faces competition from Blackburn’s Markus Olsson and Wigan’s Jason Pearce.
Voting for all Player of the Year and Mob Sport Rising Star categories is open until Friday 16 October. Fans can cast their votes HERE.
