A look ahead to BWFC XI's second pre-season fixture against local neighbours Borough this weekend
Bolton Wanderers XI continue their 2016/17 pre-season campaign away at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday afternoon.
Kicking off at the newly renamed Taurus Park at 3pm, the squad will feature a number of Wanderers’ younger players with many of those who figured in the team’s first pre-season fixture against Atherton Collieries last weekend expected to play.
Led by Under-18s coach David Lee, his side will be looking to build on their hard fought draw against Colls – a game which saw the Whites recover from two goals down before notching a late equaliser in a 3-3 draw.
Their opponents Radcliffe meanwhile, currently plying their trade in the Northern Premier League Division One North, will be eager to gain match fitness ahead of their own league campaign which kicks off next month.
This will be their first pre-season fixture however, with games against the likes of Stalybridge Celtic, Rochdale, Bury and Daily Hill to come.
Wanderers last travelled to Radcliffe territory for another pre-season fixture in July 2012 (pictured) which ended 2-2.
Admission to the game meanwhile will cost as follows:
Adults: £5
Concessions: £3
Under-18s: Free with an accompanying adult but £1 otherwise
These prices will be payable on the gate at the ground.
If fans cannot make the game, a match report will be available on www.bwfc.co.uk following the final whistle.
