Following the great news from Bolton Wanderers F.C we want to share our delight regarding the unveiling of the indoor facility at the club’s Lostock Academy and training base which has been situated over the Community Trust pitch supported by The Football Foundation.
The new indoor facility will further enhance so many of the Community programmes run by Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, the charity arm of the Club. It gives the opportunity to extend the hours that the Community pitch can be used for in programmes offering support in disability provision and women and girl’s provision to name but two great pieces of work.
It will also enhance the football provision by Wanderers Soccer School, run by Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, which aims to develop the ability of juniors aged between 2-14.
Wanderers Soccer School offer a specifically designed syllabus aimed at developing; respectful, intelligent, hardworking and skilful players with all foundation and development sessions now able to benefit from the indoor facility.
Speaking regarding the new indoor facility, Phil Mason – Trust Manager at Bolton Wanderers Community Trust – said, “It is wonderful news that we have the opportunity to use this facility that has totally transformed the Community Pitch supported by the Football Foundation and allowed the Trust to develop its work in the wider community. This will be a great benefit to the Bolton Community”.
