Wanderers' Under-18s came from three goals down to earn a 4-4 draw with their Leeds United counterparts on Saturday in their latest league outing.
The game started with the hosts putting the Whites under early pressure and as a result, Nicky Spooner's side conceded first after 10 minutes.
They reacted well however and started to cause Leeds problems with Matty Barnes coming close, but in first half injury time, United countered and Matty Fearnley saw his interception on a cross end up in the goal.
The second half started like the first with Leeds dominating possession, and Bolton conceded early on to go three down.
Despite this however, the goal appeared to spark the Trotters into life, with Dennis Politic picking up the ball from deep, running at their defence and striking home from a tight angle to reduce the arrears.
Politic then linked up with Eddie Brown, playing a one-two in the area before again driving the ball home to make it 3-2.
Within two minutes however, Wanderers conceded a fourth from the penalty spot, but again they reacted well with Luca Navarro crossing from the left for Brown to score.
Leeds were then reduced to ten men after a foul on Politic and the visitors dominated possession from hereon in and scored a equaliser through Max Broughton who headed home from a Navarro corner.
There was still time for late drama as United were reduced to nine men after another foul on Politic and although Bolton hit the post twice in the final few minutes, they just couldn't find a winner.
