Midfielder signs on a free transfer from Bradford City

Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Filipe Morais on a free transfer.

Signing on a deal until the end of the season, the 31-year-old reunites with his former manager Phil Parkinson at Macron Stadium having most recently been on the books at Bradford City.

The former Portugal Under-21s international came through the youth ranks at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho before making his professional debut on loan at MK Dons in January 2006.

Moving to Millwall permanently later that year, the winger later enjoyed spells north of the border with Hibernian, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and St Johnstone before returning to England with stints at Oldham Athletic and Stevenage.

Brought to Bradford by Parkinson in August 2014, Morais made 71 appearances during his two-and-a-half years at Valley Parade, scoring eight goals, and was a member of the Bantams side that reached the Sky Bet League One play-offs last season.

The Super 7 season ticket, which commences from the Rochdale game on Tuesday 14 February, is available to purchase today via Bolton Central in person, by calling 0844 871 2932 or by buying online.
