Madine and Alnwick attend Lancaster Whites' latest social evening

Gary Madine and Ben Alnwick paid a special visit to Lancaster Whites' latest social evening on Monday evening.

The pair made the short journey up to the Boot and Shoe Function Suite to be the guests of honour at the club's Lancaster-based supporters' group's first meeting of the current campaign.

After taking their places in front of the 60-strong crowd meanwhile, the duo were introduced by two of the group's youngest members before taking questions from the floor about their careers and time with Wanderers so far.

Following this, they posed for photographs and signed autographs for those present alongside drawing winners for the organisation's lottery.

Before leaving, the group presented both Madine and Alnwick with a small hamper each to show their appreciation for their visit.

Lancaster Whites was formed during the 1996/97 season by three season ticket holders living in the Lancaster area - Steve Horrocks, Darren Marchment and Steve Pratt.

Their numbers have grown steadily over the years, with the initial reason behind the formation of the club being to share the costs and burden of travelling to and from games, especially away games.

Over the years, they have used a variety of means of transport, but now all travel to both home and away games together.
