Wanderers' Under-18s extended their unbeaten run to six games with a 1-0 victory away at Burnley on Saturday morning.
The game itself started evenly with both teams looking to take the lead. After only five minutes meanwhile, Jordan Boon was unlucky not to score from a Luca Navarro corner.
The opportunity gave the Trotters confidence though and they started to dominate possession and after 15 minutes, Navarro attacked their defence and was fouled outside the area.
The young forward proceeded to step up to take the free-kick himself and hit a unstoppable shot into the top corner to put Bolton in front.
Wanderers should have extended their lead thereafter with the front three causing Burnley problems.
In the second half, the Clarets went more direct in their play but any danger was dealt with by a dogged and determined Whites' defence and the visitors even had chances to extend their lead inside the closing stages.
Come the final whistle however, Navarro's effort was enough to secure the points for Bolton.
