Wanderers' youngsters ran out winners over their Barnsley counterparts in their latest league outing on Saturday.
The game started evenly with both teams guilty of giving away possession too easily, with chances at a premium as a result.
The Whites were caught in possession in their own half however after failing to deal with the cross and conceded after ten minutes.
After the goal though, Nicky Spooner's side reacted in a positive manner looking for the equaliser which came within three minutes of conceding as Luca Navarro picked the ball up, ran at the defence and scored from outside the area.
In the second half, Wanderers started much brighter, attacking Barnsley and looking to take the lead and they were rewarded from a Navarro corner with Ted Moulden heading home at the near post.
Bolton furthered their lead meanwhile with Ronan Darcy crossing for Max Broughton to head home, in turn making sure of the points for the Trotters.
