Bolton Wanderers Under-23s will lock horns with Colchester United in their final Professional Development League home game of the season on Monday evening.
Taking place at Lancashire FA’s County Ground in Leyland, the young Whites will be keen to return to winning ways having lost away at Charlton Athletic last time out – their first defeat in five outings.
Wanderers sit second in the northern section - one point behind Sheffield Wednesday but boasting a game in hand – and are gunning for a place in the play-offs.
“Ultimately we’re going into these final few games with the mindset of not losing and finishing as high in the league as we possibly can,” said head coach David Lee.
“For everything we’ve done this season, it means nothing if we don’t finish it off now.”
Season ticket holders are able to attend the match free of charge, while admission is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions otherwise.
There will be live updates via the club’s Twitter account @OfficialBWFC, with a match report available at www.bwfc.co.uk soon after.
