Bolton Wanderers U18s ran out comfortable winners against Colchester United U18s at the Eddie Davies Academy, beating The U's 5-1 this morning.
Wanderers started the game well and created chances early on, with King-Harmes and Connell both having efforts from distance but not troubling the opposing goalkeeper.
20 minutes in and Connell played in King-Harmes, who crossed for Brown to finish off expertly at the near post
Brown furthered the lead shortly after, by reacting first to Darcy's effort from long range to double the lead for Nicky Spooner's side.
As the second half began, Wanderers picked up from where they left off, having numerous chances to further the lead.
The third goal soon followed after a good passage of play from Brown found Darcy to score his second of the match.
Brown then was brought down for a penalty shortly after that, but missed the spot kick to score his hattrick.
Connell then made it 4-0 for the U18s, as he danced through Colchester's defence and scored an excellent individual goal.
The midfielder made it five and a second for his personal total before Colchester scored a consolation from a cross into the box to make it 5-1.
