Keith Stroud will take charge of Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship home clash against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Entering into his 16th season as a top flight referee, Stroud has officiated 12 games so far this year, in which he has produced 38 yellow cards.
When looking towards last season, the official produced 134 yellow cards in 33 games, branding seven red cards in total.
The last time Stroud was in charge a Wanderers match was in April 2018, where he oversaw Wanderers 4-0 home defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Sky Bet Championship.
In that fixture, Stroud booked two players in the form of Danny Batth for Wolves, along with David Wheater for the Whites.
Billy Smallwood and Mark Pottage will run the line for the fixture, with Sebastian Stockbridge as fourth official.
