Following the recent sudden death of Eddie Davies CBE, former owner and president of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, a special Memorial Service will take place at Bolton Parish Church on Thursday 15 November at 1.30pm.
The service will be conducted by the Revd Canon Dr Chris Bracegirdle and BWFC Club Chaplain Phil Mason, and will be a celebration of Eddie’s life.
Within the service tributes will be paid to Eddie by a number of invited speakers and guests from around the country have been invited to attend.
The service is open to anyone who would like to attend and pay their respects to Eddie.
Phil Mason said: “This is an important service to celebrate a great man and to remember and give thanks for all he did for not only Bolton Wanderers but for the wider town and country. I sincerely hope many will take the opportunity to come along and pay their respects to Eddie.
“Our thoughts and prayers remain firmly with his family and friends at this time.”
