Bolton Wanderers U18s were beaten 4-1 at Queens Park Rangers U18s on Saturday morning.
Wanderers started the game brightly and went ahead after four minutes. Darcy and Connell worked a clever free-kick routine and Comber capitalised by scoring from a rebound to give Nicky Spooner's side the lead.
Soon afterwards, the game was turned on it's head with Rangers scoring twice in quick succession to give themselves the advantage, following some individual errors from a Wanderers perspective.
In the second half, the visitors created a number of chances to equalise and get back into the game, with the final ball or decision ultimately proving to hinder any progress.
Naturally, the away side pushed for the equalising goal and as a result, the hosts capitalised and scored a further two goals to put the result beyond doubt. Defeat on the road for the young Wanderers.
