Bolton Wanderers U18s were defeated by their Ipswich Town counterparts in their U18s Professional Development League clash 6-2.
Heading down to Playford Road, Wanderers started the game in tip top form, scoring two in the opening 15 minutes to put the Tractor Boys on the back foot immediately.
However, this lit a spark underneath the opposition, who went on to score four goals in the remainder of the first half to put Adam Atay's side in firm control.
This momentum carried into the second period, as Lounes Foudil and Liam Gibbs scored for Ipswich to extend their lead to four and put the fixture out of sight for Nicky Spooner's men.
