Bolton Wanderers is pleased to confirm the appointment of Tobias Phoenix as the club’s Head of Football Operations.
The role will see Phoenix lead on the club’s overarching football strategy from the Academy to the First Team.
Prior to his arrival at the University of Bolton Stadium, Phoenix was the Director of Football at Macclesfield Town, having initially been recruited as an executive advisor to then manager Sol Campbell.
Phoenix is renowned for working diligently in discovering pathways and mentoring players whilst focussing on improvement and establishing platforms for success.
Speaking about his appointment, Phoenix said: “I am thrilled and excited to have accepted this tremendous opportunity to work at such a historic football club.
“The owners have a vision for a successful future for Bolton Wanderers and I’m honoured to play a key role in this.
