Thibaud Verlinden has been recalled from his loan with immediate effect by parent club, Stoke City.
The 20 year-old Belgian winger impressed during his time at the University of Bolton Stadium, having become the first of nine deadline day signings made by Keith Hill shortly after his arrival at the club.
Making a total of 17 appearances for Wanderers, Verlinden scored three goals for the club including a debut strike in an away defeat at Rotherham United.
Following his return to the Bet365 Stadium, he said: ‘I’ve really enjoyed my time at Bolton Wanderers, and I wish the club all the best for the future.
Not only have I become a better player during my time with the club, but I’ve also become a better person.’
