Eventura, the Bolton-based, managed IT and business systems specialists, have signed a multi-year agreement to become the official technology partner of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
They join companies including The University of Bolton, Carrs Pasties, Franking Sense and Cowgills in supporting the club and its journey.
Eventura will support and improve the business systems and processes at the famous and much-loved family club and Bolton Whites Hotel, and will also help to introduce new and innovative fan-involvement schemes in the future.
CEO and founder, Dr Chris Houghton, said: “All of us at Eventura are delighted with this collaboration. It will bring benefits to both parties and also increase the cooperation between the Bolton family of companies already working together within the region.”
Andrew Gartside, Chief Operations Officer at Bolton Wanderers, said: “We have long been impressed by and thankful for the support from Eventura, especially over the past couple of years which have brought about well-documented challenges to the business.
“This long-term agreement illustrates their commitment to our club.”
Bolton Wanderers Chairman Sharon Brittan added: “We understand that Eventura, and in particular Chris Houghton, have been long-established friends and supporters of the club. Their presence in Bolton and core values match our philosophy of One Club, One Community, One Town.
“It is great that we can now cement that long relationship with this announcement.”
