Carrs Pasties and Bolton Wanderers Football Club have announced the renewal of their long-standing partnership.
The Bolton bakery will continue its sponsorship of the club as it takes on the current Sky Bet League Two campaign.
As fans are currently unable to watch matches from the University of Bolton Stadium, Carrs will be offering season ticket holders a 10% discount which will be available at all three Bolton stores, as well as online.
The family-run bakery also hopes they’ll be able to help fans recreate the feel of attending a game with its frozen delivery service. Boxes can be pre-ordered for delivery ahead of each game via their website
Managing Director Joe Carr said: “There’s nothing quite like the experience of being at a match, so we want to do what we can to help Bolton Wanderers fans make the most of the at-home experience, until we’re able to get back to cheering our team on in person.
“We’ll be looking at what else we can do once restrictions are lifted but, for now, we hope our delivery service will give fans a taste of the experience.”
Joe adds: “We have the town and its communities at the heart of everything we do so continuing our relationship with Bolton Wanderers is very important to us.”
Carrs Pasties have a stand at the stadium in their name, the Carrs Pasties North Family Stand, which will remain as part of the deal.
Bolton Wanderers Chairman Sharon Brittan said: “Carrs is a name synonymous with Bolton over many generations and we are delighted that we have renewed our long-standing partnership.
“Through their work within the community they are aligned with our One Club One Community One Town ethos which makes them a truly valued partner.
“Pasties are a great accompaniment for our fans who will be watching our matches at home.”
Customers are encouraged to pre-order frozen pasties in advance, at least a few days ahead of matches. Or they can use Carrs Pasties click and collect service and choose to collect their order in person from one of the three Carrs Pasties stores in Bolton.
