Ian Evatt has revealed that captain Antoni Sarcevic is making good progress with his rehab as Bolton Wanderers enter the final weeks of the Sky Bet League Two season.
The Wanderers captain has been sidelined with a hamstring injury he sustained early on in the victory against Port Vale last month.
But having returned to the grass yesterday, Evatt is pleased with the midfielder’s progress.
He said: “At the moment, though, he is progressing really well. He has done a lot of work on the grass with the ball and had no reaction, so there’s going to come a point where we make a call on it.
“For now, it’s giving the best possible chance of not having a recurrence of that injury.”
