In light of new government rules around Covid-19, supporters attending forthcoming matches at the University of Bolton Stadium will need to show proof of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test.
The government has made use of the NHS Covid pass – which hosts vaccination and test result records – mandatory for all sporting events which will attract a crowd of over 10,000, with the rules coming into effect on Wednesday, 15 December.
Wanderers will therefore be introducing the new measures – which will apply to supporters in hospitality and all areas of the ground – for the first time for the home game against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, 18 December.
A valid Covid pass is deemed to be a digital NHS pass, a paper NHS Covid pass, or proof of a recent negative lateral flow test result. It is each supporter’s responsibility to acquire the necessary COVID Pass.

Masks will also be required to be worn on entry to the stadium and in the concourse areas, but not when seated to watch the match.
Wanderers are currently putting in place a number of processes to adhere to the latest government guidelines and further details regarding match-day protocols will be issued ahead of the game against Wycombe.
We thank supporters for their cooperation, as well as encouraging all to take up the opportunity to be vaccinated.
