Wanderers defender Liam Edwards has extended his loan with National League North side Southport until early January.
The 25-year-old central defender initially joined the Sandgrounders on loan in November, but after making five league appearances for the club during the past month, he will remain at Haig Avenue until 8th January.
The Merseyside club have won five and drawn one of the six league games they have played since Edwards' arrival, and Saturday's 2-1 victory at Blyth Spartans elevated them into the play-off places.
Meanwhile, young defender Ryan Colvin has joined Prescot Cables in a permanent move. We'd like to wish Ryan all the best for the future.
