Adam Senior is heading back to Wanderers following a loan spell at York City.
The Whites have activated a re-call clause after the initial 28 days of the defender’s loan stay with the Minstermen.
Senior will now be available to boss Ian Evatt and could be involved at Accrington Stanley on Saturday when captain Rico Santos will serve a one-match ban for his sending off at Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night.
Injuries meant Wanderers were down to three senior outfield players among their substitutes for the 3-0 loss at Fleetwood.
The return of Senior will bolster the numbers with the right-back having gained valuable further first-team experience with York.
The 19-year-old made four appearances for City in the National League North – helping them collect four points – following a successful loan stint with Northern Premier League outfit Ashton United.
