Ian Evatt believes Bolton Wanderers have the players and talent to beat anybody in Sky Bet League Two.
His men face Scunthorpe United at the University of Bolton Stadium this evening on the back of three successive victories.
Evatt acknowledged that although The Iron are going through a purple patch of their own heading into the contest, his players are eager to continue their own winning streak.
He said: “They’ve had a good run of form themselves and they’ve won their last four games. It’ll be a difficult and challenging game but we’ve got players champing at the bit throughout the squad.
“We have to do the basics well and if we perform well then I’m confident that we’ll beat anyone in this league but we can’t just turn up and expect to win.”
With 17 games to go until the end of the season, the manager is not looking at past results as he plots a path of upwards progression.
He added: “Forget last week, the week before and forget the months that have gone. We have to focus on the next game and if we do that between now and the end of the season then we have an excellent opportunity.”
