Bolton Wanderers are delighted to confirm that four of our Academy graduates have signed their first professional contracts with the football club.
Luke Hutchinson, Ryan Colvin, Jay Fitzmartin and Finlay Lockett, all aged 18, have penned one-year professional contracts after progressing through the club’s Academy.
Hutchinson, who hails from Bury, is a goalkeeper and has been with the Academy since he was 8 years old.
Austrian Colvin is a central defender and joined the Academy in the summer of 2019.
Leigh-born Fitzmartin is winger and has been with Wanderers for just over six years. He already has a senior appearance under his belt when he featured in Wanderers’ EFL Trophy game against Bradford City in 2019.
Winger Lockett already has five senior appearances to his name, making his league debut as 16 year old in the 0-0 draw against Coventry City at the University of Bolton Stadium in August 2019. The Marple-born frontman has been at the club since 2014.
We would like to wish the lads all the very best with their professional careers at the Wanderers.
