For almost 40 years, children across Bolton began their lifelong love affair of Bolton Wanderers by joining the club’s Junior Whites and taking part in a range of fun and entertaining Wanderers-themed activities.
With organised matches, exclusive parties, opportunities to meet their heroes and involvement on match days, Junior Whites has been a hub for the club’s young supporters since the early 1980s.
And now the club is delighted to confirm that a refreshed and reinvigorated Junior Whites will relaunch so that a new generation of Boltonians can immerse themselves in all things Wanderers.
Lifelong Wanderers fan and a former Junior White himself, Mikey O’Gara, who has worked in the club’s media department for several years, is leading the programme.
“We are really excited to relaunch Junior Whites,” said Mikey.
“As a former member myself, I know first-hand just how important the scheme has been to many young Wanderers fans for a very long time.
“It’s a great community full of like-minded youngsters with an emphasis on fun from a Bolton Wanderers perspective.
“We had been planning to relaunch before the pandemic, so we’ve had to adapt some of our initial plans and will be looking at a gradual, phased-in approach with some virtual events to kick off with.”
The club is encouraging supporters to take part in our survey to help shape the Junior Whites going forward.
