Fresh after helping his team bounce back into Sky Bet League One, Eoin Doyle believes Bolton Wanderers will be ready to dine among the top table next season.
The Irishman netted an impressive 19 goals throughout the campaign as Wanderers secured promotion on the final day of the season when they thumped Crawley Town 4-1 at the People’s Pension Stadium.
And with Wanderers set to compete against the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic and Wigan Athletic, as well as the possibility of Blackpool and Sunderland, who are contesting the play offs, next term, the striker is looking forward to an exciting season ahead.
He said: “What a league next year – there are some massive clubs but we’re one of them!
“It is going to be some season. Please God the fans get back in and we can have a full house, it’ll be so exciting.”
The former Swindon Town hotshot has thoroughly enjoyed his year with Ian Evatt’s men and is pleased with his contribution which saw him top the Wanderers goalscoring charts.
He added: “The club is in a good place at the minute. You can see by the way people are carrying themselves, it’s promising times.
"I am just so privileged and I am so grateful that I have had a small, small part to play in the success.
"But I love this place, I feel at home, the lads, the gaffer, the way we play – everything is working out well. It’s nice."
