Gethin Jones cannot wait to play Sky Bet League One football in front of Bolton Wanderers supporters next season.
The Welshman, who recently penned a new two-year deal with the club, has not had the opportunity to play before the Wanderers faithful since arriving at the club back in August.
But with supporters set to return to stadiums up and down the country from the start of next season, the full back is looking forward to experiencing a University of Bolton Stadium atmosphere.
He said: “I always knew that Bolton Wanderers was such a big club but we didn’t get to experience that throughout most of the season with fans not being able to be there.
“We all realised – and remembered just how big the club is – when we played Exeter at home and we could hear and see the fans outside.
“It will be massive for them to be back at the stadium, and with League One next season being so big, with clubs like Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland in there, our fans will play a massive part for us.
“We have been made up with the fans. They stuck by us and believed in us. We see everything on social media and we are so happy to have such amazing fans.
“We cannot wait to see them back at the stadium next season. It will be very enjoyable for everyone.”
