Phil said: “I have been a Lifeline member since around 1994 when I became a season ticket holder.
"I initially joined as I received a 5% discount on my season ticket renewal price and it was another way to support the club whilst having the chance to win cash prizes for a small outlay.”
We aim to let all our winners know personally when the results of the draw come in.
Of the moment when he was told he'd won £2,000 Phil said: “When Alison informed me over the phone I said "you must be joking!". I have experienced many highs and lows following the Wanderers over 60 years and this is a high".
We asked Phil how he plans to spend his winnings: “Well I had renewed both my son and my own season tickets the day before. My wife wants a new fridge freezer. The remainder will go towards a holiday in Barbados.”
“I would recommend Lifeline. It’s relatively cheap with a great chance to win decent cash prizes. If I can win, so can you. Come on you Whites!”
