A Finlay Lockett goal earned a young Reserve side a point in their final game of the season.
Lockett – who recently returned after 10 months out following knee surgery – fired into the top corner via the inside of a post with a fine strike from the edge of the penalty area to equalise before the break.
Bottom club Walsall had led through a trialist’s goal as they looked to avenge a 5-1 defeat at Wanderers a week ago.
But Lockett’s tidy finish denied the Saddlers a second Central League win of the season and lifted Wanderers up to fourth place – one point above Huddersfield who have one game remaining.
Wanderers pushed for a fourth victory of the campaign after the break but after Lockett had chipped an effort wide, Walsall keeper Zach Hedge followed up a save from Matthew Tweedley with another to deny Mitch Henry.
Walsall also went in search of a winner but Luke Hutchinson's superb late save from Ronan Maher made sure the Whites didn't return home empty-handed.
Reserves: Hutchinson, Beardsworth (Burgess 55), Halford, Sharples, Tweedley (Kamara 83), Henry (Jones 83), Lockett, Trialist A (Fitzmartin 69), Trialist B, Pettifer, Toure.
