The B Team starts its Central League campaign today (Tuesday) with a trip to Fleetwood Town.
The game at Fleetwood’s Poolfoot Farm training ground kicks off at 1pm and spectators are able to watch.
Wanderers’ boss Ian Evatt will be among those in attendance for a watching brief as senior men Josh Sheehan and Lloyd Isgrove continue their comebacks against Town's Development Squad.
The midfield pair haven’t featured since last November due to injury but will be given valuable game time as they close in on a first-team return.
Midfielder George Thomason is also able to play while he serves a ban at first-team level and will keep his match fitness topped up ahead of a likely return to the squad for next Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup tie with Aston Villa.
Evatt will also get a further chance to run an eye over the Whites’ young players in the B squad, having given first senior outings to midfielder Nelson Khumbeni and defender Lamine Toure as substitutes in last week’s cup win over Salford City.
