Eoin Toal completed his first 45 minutes for Wanderers as a strong Blackpool side came from behind to win at Bamber Bridge.
Summer signing Toal stepped up his match fitness after recovering from injury and played the first half of the Central League game.
Josh Sheehan and Lloyd Isgrove also got more valuable game time into their legs, with the duo playing for 75 minutes to edge nearer a first-team return.
Isgrove went close to a stunning goal as he crashed a first-time volley from a corner against the crossbar as the Whites went close to doubling their early lead.
Conor Carty had made it two goals in two games as the striker followed up his winner at Fleetwood in the Whites’ opening game with another cool finish after running onto a Sheehan through-ball just five minutes in.
Wanderers’ lead lasted until five minutes before the break when the Seasiders – containing a number of first-team players – levelled from the penalty spot through Beryly Lubala.
Blackpool then went ahead when CJ Hamilton – with three Championship appearances under his belt this season – fired past the impressive Luke Hutchinson after 65 minutes.
And the home side hung onto all three points after Wanderers’ substitute Matthew Tweedley was denied by Stuart Moore’s fine save.
Wanderers: Hutchinson, Khumbeni (Tweedley 75), Toal (Tutte HT), Sackey, Sheehan (Pettifer 75), Isgrove (Conway 75), Carty, Toure, Sithole, Stanley (Lockett HT), Senior.
