Aaron Morley wants Wanderers to come back with a bang when they take on Bristol Rovers tonight.
The fifth-placed Whites play their first League One game at the University of Bolton Stadium since the end of October when they face the Pirates (KO 7.45pm).
Ian Evatt’s men go into the game on the back of a thrilling 2-1 win at Fleetwood Town in their last league outing a fortnight ago – a result they backed up with progress in the Papa Johns Trophy last week.
And Morley is looking to stay on a roll as Wanderers kick off a run of 11 league games between now and the end of January as they look to sustain their top-six challenge.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve played here (in the league) so Friday night under the lights, hopefully we can put on a good show,” said the in-form midfield man.
“It was a great result (at Fleetwood) but we’ve had a bit of a break now and a good week’s training so hopefully we’ll get the three points.
“I think we can claw back a few of the teams above us from the busy schedule over Christmas and January and hopefully we can do that.”
