Wanderers will find out their opponents in the quarter-finals of the Papa Johns Trophy when the draw for the last eight is made tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
The Whites – who made it through to this stage for the first time with a comfortable 4-0 win over Manchester United’s U21s on Tuesday night – will have their name on ball number two when the draw takes place at approximately 11.45am.
The draw, which is no longer regionalised, will take place live on TalkSPORT on the Jim White and Simon Jordan show.
Six of the eight sides still hoping to make it all the way to Wembley have been determined with just two last-16 ties still to be played.
Salford City play Port Vale on Tuesday, 20 December with Plymouth Argyle hosting AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday 21 December.
The quarter-finals are scheduled to be played in the week commencing 9 January.
