Wanderers’ fans will see a new look to their home at this afternoon’s game against Sunderland at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The name of former stadium sponsors Macron is no longer spelled out in the seats in the upper tier of the Nat Lofthouse East Stand sponsored by Eventura.
Instead, the town’s title ‘Bolton’ now proudly stands out in white letters to welcome all-comers to Wanderers’ matches.
“Supporters wanted to see that changed and that’s what we’ve done,” said Wanderers’ Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart.
“Bolton is where and who we are and the name will be staying there for the future.”
