Wanderers would like to thank all the supporters who attended last Saturday’s friendly against Huddersfield Town and helped accommodate the introduction of a cashless operation and new car parking arrangements at the University of Bolton Stadium and Bolton Stadium Hotel.
The Whites are moving towards a cashless system across the two club sites in a bid to deliver a more efficient, speedy and hygienic service for supporters and customers.
A crowd of 4,421 attended Saturday’s friendly and helped a smooth transition to the card-payment policy, which led to much faster service times at kiosks for fans.
There was a small technical glitch at one stage in the away end and Wanderers would like to thanks supporters from Huddersfield Town for their patience during that period.
The new Fanzone, Club Store, Ticket Office, Bolton Stadium Hotel bars, programme selling points and Lottery sellers will continue to accept cash payments as required.
The new ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology process to be used for club car parks was also introduced for the first time.
Again, we thank supporters who paid for parking using one of the payment options available. Details of how the system operates are available HERE
The club received a small number of queries, which we are addressing, and is grateful for all feedback received.
No fixed penalty ticket notices will be issued from last Saturday’s fixture and the club will continue to fine-tune all processes ahead of Wanderers’ opening home League One game of the season against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, 6 August.
