In-form striker Amadou Bakayoko has earned a double nomination for February player-of-the-month awards.
Bakayoko scored five times during February to help Wanderers sustain their play-off push.
And the Whites’ frontman has been short-listed for the Sky Bet League One and PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month prizes.
Bakayoko was on the pitch for 366 minutes in a busy month for Wanderers and bagged a handful of crucial goals to help secure big results.
He was on target in wins over Cambridge United, Oxford United – bagging the Whites’ late winner – AFC Wimbledon and Lincoln City and also came off the bench to secure Wanderers’ late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Morecambe.
Bakayoko’s haul has earned him a place on the Sky Bet League One short-list along with Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan, Cheltenham Town striker Alfie May and Rotherham United goalkeeper Josh Vickers.
The judging panel of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies will decide the winner to be announced on Friday.
Meanwhile, a fans’ vote will determine the winner of the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ prize.
This time, Bakayoko is up against Alfie May (Cheltenham Town), Cameron Brannagan (Oxford United), Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday), Ross Stewart (Sunderland) and Callum Lang (Wigan Athletic).
Fan can cast their votes on the 90min.com website, with voting closing on Friday at midnight, with the winners announced on Tuesday 15 March.
