Wanderers will be wearing their away strip on Tuesday night to show their support for homeless charity Shelter.
The Whites have thrown their weight behind the ‘No Home Kit’ campaign to help increase awareness of homelessness in this country and raise funds for Shelter projects.
Clubs across the EFL have supported the campaign, which was originally scheduled to be staged around the Boxing Day fixture programme.
With the visit of Morecambe on 26 December postponed, Tuesday night’s re-arranged fixture against the Shrimps has allowed Wanderers – who will wear their yellow kit – to show their backing for the project.
Homelessness in the UK has been on the increase over the past decade, with Shelter saying that more than 180,000 households have been made homeless since March, 2020.
Fans can donate to support Shelter’s frontline services and campaigns to end the housing emergency for good via shelter.org.uk/nohomekit or by texting ‘HOME’ to 70455 to donate £5.
