Four of the Wanderers squad have headed away to represent their respective nations on international duty during the next seven days.
Jón Daði Böðvarsson, Amadou Bakayoko, James Trafford, and Dion Charles could see action donning the flag of their countries over the course of the next week. We’ve provided you with details of all the upcoming fixtures so you can keep up to date with the Wanderers on their travels before they return to BL6.
Böðvarsson already has an impressive 62 caps to his name for Iceland since making his debut a decade ago, and the 29-year-old forward heads into the international break in decent goal-scoring form having netted 4 times in his last 7 appearances for Bolton.
Amadou Bakayoko is the man of the moment on the club scene after netting a late winner in last weekend’s 1-0 victory at Crewe Alexandra, and he could make his first-ever appearance for Sierra Leone following his recent call-up to represent his country of birth.
Dion Charles currently has 6 caps for Northern Ireland after making his debut in a 2-1 friendly defeat to the United States in March of last year and with 6 goals for Wanderers since his move at the turn of the year, he’ll be aiming for a first goal for the Green and White Army.
James Trafford has been in the England youth setup for a number of years now since his first representation at Under-17s level. Making his debut for the Under-20s in a 6-1 victory against Romania in September of last year, the Manchester City loanee will be looking to add to the four caps he already has for the current age group.
