A group of 15 fundraisers will take part in the Great Manchester 10k Run this Sunday 22nd May, with the aim to raise vital funds for the club’s official charity, Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC).
The team of runners are made up of both club staff and supporters of BWitC, and include club Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart and Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers in the Community, Phil Mason.
Weeks of training and active fundraising have resulted in the team raising over £5,000 already – and they have ambitions to take that number as far as possible.
Phi Mason said: “Raising money to support the great work of Bolton Wanderers in the Community is vital. Every penny will go towards making a difference in people’s lives.”
Neil Hart said: “Bolton Wanderers in the Community are carrying out important work in our local area and I’m proud to be raising money on their behalf at the upcoming Great Manchester 10k Run.
