Wanderers can confirm a further addition to their pre-season programme with a trip to face League Two side Carlisle United.
Ian Evatt will take his side to Brunton Park to meet the Cumbrians on Saturday, 16 July (KO 3pm).
The fixture will continue Wanderers’ build-up the 2022/23 campaign with a first chance for supporters to see Evatt’s side take on EFL opposition.
Carlisle finished 20th in League Two last season after being led to safety by Paul Simpson after the former Manchester City, Derby, Oxford and Blackpool winger returned to take charge of his hometown club for a second time in February.
The visit to Carlisle will be Wanderers’ first since a dramatic 3-3 draw en route to promotion from League Two on Boxing Day, 2020.
The Whites trailed 3-0 before hitting back to earn a point and prevent the Cumbrians from going top of the table thanks to goals from George Thomason, Nathan Delfouneso and on-loan wideman Peter Kioso.
The Carlisle fixture is the fifth confirmed by Wanderers in their pre-season schedule and comes a fortnight before the start of the new EFL campaign.
Admission prices and ticket details will be announced in due course.
Fixtures for the 2022/23 EFL season will be released on Thursday, 23 June.
