15 fundraisers completed the Great Manchester 10k Run on Sunday 22nd May, raising a current running total of £6247.24 to support the work of Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
Thousands of people took to the streets of Manchester City Centre to take on the race, which is known for being Europe’s biggest.
Wanderers CEO, Neil Hart was one of the team raising money for the club’s official charity and said: “There was a wonderful atmosphere at the event and we were proud to be there to represent Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
“We’re delighted with the amount we have raised so far – the BWitC team are making a real impact in our town and this money will go to helping those who really need it. Thanks to all those who have supported our efforts and made a donation.”
The group’s online JustGiving page remains open for those who would still like to make a donation and can be found HERE.
