Wanderers are delighted to be hosting ‘An Evening With Paul Merson’ as the Whites welcome the former England and Arsenal star to the University of Bolton Stadium next month.
A night of top chat and tales from Merson – one of football’s most engaging characters and leading TV pundits – takes place in the Lion of Vienna Suite on Monday, 5 December with a 7pm start.
Wanderers' manager Ian Evatt, chairman Sharon Brittan and chief executive officer Neil Hart will all be attending.
Tickets for the night – kindly sponsored by Fairmont Recruitment – are £60 per person and include hot, cold and dessert ‘bowl food’ options from a varied menu.
Alternatively, a special offer is available for a table of 10 for £500 – which also includes a bucket of 10 beers – and can be booked HERE.
There will also be a cashless bar in operation on the night.
Twice a top-flight title winner, Merson enjoyed a magnificent playing career which brought him five major trophies with Arsenal before spells with Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Portsmouth and as player-manager of Walsall.
Capped 21 times by England and a one-time PFA Young Player of the Year, since hanging up his boots Merson has become one of the leading lights on Sky Soccer Saturday.
However, the 54-year-old hasn’t always had it easy with some well-documented off-the-field battles to overcome.
His glittering career playing under and alongside some of the biggest names in football and his personal journey make him one of the most interesting, entertaining and forthright sporting characters around.
And he’s guaranteed to provide a superb night’s entertainment at the University of Bolton Stadium as he discusses the 2022 World Cup Finals, which will be in full swing, and recounts memorable moments from his life and career in front and behind the TV cameras.
Tickets for a fantastic night are on open sale on a first come, first served basis and available to buy HERE
