The B team continues its Central League campaign when they entertain Preston North End’s Reserves this afternoon (Tuesday).
Wanderers will be looking for a third league win of the season when they face North End at Lostock (KO 1pm) in a game moved forward 24 hours from its original date.
Matt Craddock’s side were beaten 2-0 by Accrington Stanley last week but would go top of the table if they avoid defeat against a Preston side playing only their second league fixture.
North End – whose first team hosts Swansea City in the Championship on Tuesday night – have played twice in the Central League Cup with a win and a loss to go with a 1-1 draw against Wrexham last time out in the league.
